Workman Collection auctions 1976 painting by Ian Darragh

The collection of Robert Workman was auctioned off at Ross’s Auctioneers in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The collection contained a painting by Ian Darragh which subsequently sold to an unknown buyer. It is assumed that Robert Workman knew Ian Darragh during his childhood in Larne, Northern Ireland.

Two new sections added to site

We’ve added two new sections to the site:

Der Adler von Manhattan

a story about Ian by Helmut Kohn (which translates into English as ‘Eagle of Manhattan’) and


of people who knew Ian.

Royal College of Art releases images of prints of Ian’s from their collection.

Royal College of Art in London gives their permission to publish six prints in the collection of the Printmaking department of the eleven they own that were missing from the archive:
